Seaplane service between Malta and Gozo

The new seaplane service between Malta and Gozo, Harbour Air, is due to go into service in July. The new service will be operating flights between the Valletta Sea Terminal in Malta and Mgarr harbour here in Gozo.

The flights will be operating from July till October, during daylight hours only. There are five return flights scheduled on weekdays and four return flights scheduled on weekends. Scenic flights and tours will also be operated, flight times and prices for this have not yet been announced.

The adult fares will be LM15.00 one way or LM30.00 return, childrens fares will be LM11.00 one way or LM22.00 return. There is also a special introductory adult fare of LM12.00, valid on the first first flight departing from both Gozo and Malta on weekdays. All these prices are plus VAT at 18%.

Luggage allowance on scheduled flights is 10kgs per person and due to strict weight restrictions any excess weight will have to be booked at the reservation stage. Such excess weight will be subject to an additional charge of LM0.50 per kilo on each flight leg.

A small freight service between Gozo and Malta will also be provided, prices for this are shown in the table at the bottom of this page.
